The shooting for season 2 of Amazon Prime’s most awaited web-series ‘The Family Man Season 2’ has been completed. Starring Manoj Vajpayee, the team of the show celebrated the shooting with great joy. Filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK celebrated the conclusion of the shoot on Sunday with the entire cast, crew and friends.

Bollywood star actor Kiran Kumar tests positive for coronavirus

Actor Kiran Kumar has been self-isolation after testing positive for coronavirus before 10 days ago.

MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Kiran Kumar has been hit by the coronavirus. The 74 years old actor who has worked in hundreds of films has been tested coronavirus positive but the good news is that is asymptomatic which means is the immunity system is fighting it out.

Kiran joked that doing all the chores by himself reminded him of his ‘boarding school days’. He said, “I’m currently staying on the third floor of my residence. My family lives on the second floor. I’m alone and reliving my boarding school days, putting my own bed, and washing my own clothes (laughs).” He will undergo a second test on either Monday (May 25) or Tuesday (May 26).

Odisha government allow home delivery of liquor: increase by 50% (Covid-19 fee).

Odisha allows home delivery of liquor. The Odisha Government on Saturday allowed home delivery of liquor by the existing on and off shop license of India made foreign liquor and beer.

BHUBANESWAR: Home delivery of the liquor in Odisha, the state government has introduced 50% additional (COVID fee). The normal timing for home delivery would be between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The state's excise department announced that the state government has allowed home delivery of liquor by the existing ON and OFF shop license of IMFL and beer situated in areas other than containment zones and shopping malls. May 24,2020  by amending the relevant provisions under Odisha excise rules,2017.

The additional revenue to be generated would go towards meeting the expenses being incurred by the state government in the treatment of COVID-19 patients and other related activities, it said.

Delivery charges

The delivery charge has been fixed at ₹100 for orders up to ₹1,000 and thereafter ₹25 for every additional ₹500 in order value. In no case would the delivery charge be allowed to exceed ₹300. Normal timing for home delivery would be between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m

Five Tips to Prepare Sheer Khurma in Healthy Way

Ingredients

Full cream milk: 500 ml

Desi ghee: ¼ cup

Almonds (blanched and chopped): 1/4 cup

Cashews (chopped): 1/4 cup

Pistachios (chopped): 1/4 cup

Raisins: 1/4 cup

Vermicelli: 50 gm

Dates: 2 tbsp

Sugar: ¼ cup

Saffron: ½ tsp

Cardamom powder: ½ tsp

Method

• Take the desi ghee in a pan and heat it
• Add chopped almonds, cashews, pistachios and raisins to it
• In another pan, heat some ghee and roast vermicelli in it
• In a third wide pan, heat the milk and let it simmer till it thickens, then add sugar to it
• Add roasted nuts and vermicelli to milk along with dates and saffron and leave to simmer
• Keep stirring, then add cardamom powder
• Let it cool and garnish with nuts and dates
• Serve chilled

While every ingredient of Khurma is healthy; nevertheless, there is always room for improvement, i.e., making it healthier.

Coronavirus Update in India: India has recorded its biggest single-day spike in coronavirus-positive cases, of more than 6,654, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The total number of cases in the country has reached 125,101, and as many as 3,726 people have died from the disease so far. Whereas, Gujarat, with a very high mortality rate, has recorded 802 fatalities due to the deadly infection, while 13,268 people have been afflicted by the COVID-19 in the western state so far.

Meanwhile, the national capital of Delhi is also witnessing a huge spike in coronavirus cases from the past few days. With record 660 fresh cases of COVID-19 recorded on Friday, the total number of cases in the capital now stands at 12,319, while 208 people have succumbed to the virus so far.

According to the Health Ministry, of the total, 69,597 are active cases while at least 51,784 people have been cured of the disease.

The Jagatsinghpur administration runs against the time of moving people to safety in view of the huge Amphan storm. To justify the fatal casualties, the authorities have decided to evacuate 25,000 people from Paradip, Erasama, Kujang, and Balikuda areas to storm shelters and other similar areas.

                                                However, by Tuesday evening, it had managed to evacuate 4,665 people. The evacuations will continue in all eight districts of the district until midnight, said Col. Sangram Keshari Mohapatra. Apart from the 58 storm shelters, the riots are being kept in Anganwadi centers, educational institutions and given dry food packs. In addition, food supplies have been stored in 26 relief camps. Cyclone Amphan, and one of the largest storms in the Bay of Bengal in two decades, overturned the coastal regions of Odisha early on Wednesday morning, as a gust of wind blew more than 100 kilometers per hour (km/hr) through Paradip.

The cyclone lies 110 km south-southeast of the city port.
