and TikTok has given a huge platform for the people to showcase their talent.
There are many people on YouTube as well as TikTok who have received a large number of views and likes based on their great talent.
However, the powerful social media platforms have also led
to the rise of cyberbullying and online harassment. TikTok, which is owned by a
Chinese firm ByteDance faces criticism in India due to a social media war
erupted between TikTokers and YouTubers in the midst of a Coronavirus Pandemic.

Users in India are giving a 1-star rating to the app on the
Google Play Store for the past few days due to which the app's current rating
has come down to 1.3 from 4.5 on the app store. The whole 1-star rating is
being followed by the #bantiktok hashtag trending on Twitter with people
demanding a ban on the app in India yet again. The app still has a rating of
4.8 on the App Store, give that the iOS userbase is less than that of Android.
However, YouTube took that video down owing to some content
violation. Later on, Ajey Nagar came up with another video in which he urged
people to stop taking things from his videos like dialogue and use them just
for their benefits. He cleared that he had said in a context, but people have
misused and misjudged him taken things out of context.
